Jo Jo White in recovery mode...but he is in the HALL OF FAME now too

Last month when we wen tot watch the C's play the Grizz I saw Jo Jo as we were leaving the Garden, spoke to him very briefly and shook his hand.............seems really no one else around even knew who he was....and that was sort of sad. He thanked me and moved on soon lost in the crowd.... now I see this article.

BobH had put a small note here a while ago telling us about JoJo's struggles. I am thrilled with the news that he has finally been voted by the veteran's committee into the HOF. Most deserving.

JoJo is a man of class and elegance. He walks as smoothly as he played. I saw him the night I went to the Warriors game but could not catch up with him to wish him well. It is wonderful that the Celtics stuck by one of their own and helped him along I aam sure this has been a struggle for him, especially for a guy who took such good care of his body.

I don't think some Phoenix players particularly cared for him in the spring of 76...........
