Take out your crystal ball and tell me which player in this years draft you believe has the best chance to become and all league selection, in the next few years, based on his ability as a scorer or rebounder or combination of both ? That's the player I want. No other added frills needed.

Actually that would probably be Okafor. As long as you expect nothing but scoring and rebounding.

Thanks for your answer. Note that being an all league selection is a very important qualification. For a center, like Okafor, that would give you a player judged to be one of the 3 best at his position for that year. Yes , I would be happy with a player with just those qualifications.

not sure I am pundit

pun·dit

/ˈpəndət/

noun

noun: pundit; plural noun: pundits

an expert in a particular subject or field who is frequently called on to give opinions about it to the public.

OK, now I KNOW I'm not one!

but I'll share my guess's

if your asking which players have the best chance of being an All-star level player within five years...I would rank them like this:

1. D. Russell
2. Towns
3. OKafor
4. Winslow
5. S. Johnson

they're all kids though, so you have give all of them 3-4 years.

Actually I use all-league as a Qualification. That's a top 15 vs top 24. Buts that's ok. Ill call Danny tomorrow and tell him to move up in the draft to grab D. Russell. I gather scoring is his strong suit. Thanks for your opinion.

OK great...my point was I don't see ANY players drafted this year being ALL-LEAGUE in their first 3-4 years. these kids are just to young to make that leap today.

James did it sure.

will Wiggins be all-league in 2-3 more years? I don't know perhaps.

as for Russell, I see him as a possible Curry like player in the NBA. I know he's been compared to Harden by some, but to me he COULD be closer to Curry.

Towns and Okafor are easy picks.

Winlsow and S. Johnson, because they come into the NBA with NBA bodies already which makes their transition easier ,IMO.
