Boston Celtics forward Amir Johnson will participate in Team USA's scrimmage on Thursday night in Las Vegas.

Johnson, a Vegas resident, was one of five players invited to join the scrimmage. He will join a Blue Team helmed by Golden State's Harrison Barnes and Washington Wizards' Bradley Beal. Johnson should get some good frontcourt tests going up against a White Team that features Sacramento's DeMarcus Cousins, Los Angeles Clippers' Blake Griffin, and Golden State's Draymond Green.

The 28-year-old Johnson signed a two-year, $24 million deal with the Celtics this offseason.

Celtics fans can watch the scrimmage Thursday at 10:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
