They're making it an artform.
Hey, they could always add Greg Oden to their stable of the perenially injured. He did have 23 points and 14 rebounds in his Chinese league debut (no doubt, being guarded by a pair of chopsticks):

steve,
At least he can still claim he's good enough to demand a double-team.

Re: 76ers: Tanks a lot
I happen to live much nearer to Philly than I like to admit, and all of local papers "claim" the 6ers as their "home' team so I read a lot about them and hear a lot about them.
The real sad part is the the team's administration seems to have lulled the total fan base to sleep with regards to the tanking year after year after year. It seems like the fans (perhaps to be now counted in the low thousands at this point) do not seem to care, or watch or go to games.
Not sure how the franchise will last doing this in such a large town, but I am very, very happy that the Cs have chosen not to go down the "tank road" even if it may have cost them a few positions in the drafting order a few times.

Re: 76ers: Tanks a lot
I think the 26ers have a fetish for injured centers and milking what's left of the fanbase...
Kind of reminds me of what the Hornets did while they had Chris Paul (not trying to win, but trying to sell tickets). Although, this team doesn't really even have anyone worth watching.
