The Orlando Magic have waived center Greg Stiemsma.

Orlando’s roster now stands at 15.

Stiemsma appeared in two preseason games with the Magic, averaging 1.5 rebounds in 8.3 minutes per game.

Not overly surprised as this guy has many holes in his game to be a full time NBA player.

To his credit, he did always seem to play hard when with the Cs.

I agree. He left for a small difference in salary, one that we couldn't match at the time.

Also, I think he was a little homesick after years of playing in Europe and elsewhere. He's a Badger and Minneapolis is near to his family. More money AND driving distance from his family is a tough deal to pass up.
