Quick view from the Left coast....

Yesterday was a fine day....Celtics won, Lakers lost....ALWAYS a good day when that happens...
I'd like to laugh at the poor hapless Knicks after being beaten by those lowly Nets at home!!!
except it happened to the C's recently too : ( ....just a part of this mysterious universe we live in....

The Nets wont be the worst team ever. I went over to bdc and posted a couple. It's raining cavs trolls but the Laker trolls were nowhere to be found.

All in all it's better over here.

All-'tude, brain-dead, basketball-illiterate Cav trolls are better than jersey-wearing, June Bug-horizon, annoying-mosquito Laker trolls? I need to get myself a trolls owners manual, because I can't figure this out.

There was a star trek (not James t Kirk the new guy) where Kirstie Allie was being tested to be a star fleet captain. It was a simulation and she got worked. Picard sternly asked her what she could have done different and she started making excuses. The cap calmly listened and then told her she could not have won because the simulation was unbeatable. She was supposed to recognize it was not doable. (star trek guys if I mangled this forgive me its been eons but I think I got it pretty close to being right.)

That's how it is with the trolls. Their purpose in life is to irritate and they are relelntless. That you cant figure it out means your well.

It was Admiral James Tiberius Kirk who said that to her (Lt. Saavik) in the movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. He was referring to the "Kobayashi Maru Scenario", designed to be a no-win scenario to test the cadet's character. Spock pointed out to her that Kirk was the only person to ever beat the Kobayashi Maru Scenario. When she asked how, she was told that he re-programmed the computers so that it was winnable. She looked at Kirk and said "you cheated!". He said "I don't like losing". Now that's ganas.

btw, Kirk was officially commended by Star Fleet Academy for "original thinking". "No win" situations are just opportunities for original thinking.
