No trades, but changes coming this summer - who do you want to keep...
The trade deadline has come and gone, and our plucky little squad with the huge heart has stayed intact. However, changes are coming, and coming soon. We cannot possibly keep all our players AND sign our draft picks, never mind adding potential big names via free agency (we will have money to spend...). Also, Danny is not as sentimental as we are, and he is going to be looking to trade players to upgrade our talent. With all that in mind, who do you really want to keep? My list of keepers, loosely in order:
Isaiah (his production on his contract?? c'mon...)
Marcus (already a beast on D, great leadership potential, only going to improve on offense, rookie contract)
Avery (relentless defender, more frequent offensive outbursts, excellent contract despite certain people's whining)
Jae (see above for Avery, add in leadership like Marcus. Contract is looking like a ridiculous steal...)
Kelly (this was tough, since I am choosing him over Sully and Amir, both of whom I also love, but I just think he fits Brad better. Rookie contract)
Turner (Something about this guy - I just want him on my team. Comes up big in tough spots, never complains, multi-skilled)
I hate leaving players off this list, especially Amir and Sully. Sure hope players don't read our humble board...

You're asking which players on a Top 3 East team should be dumped just for the hell of it.
Maybe it's time to start appreciating the Top 3 East team, rather than playing trade machine like we're some basement team.

At some point "plucky" has to just become "good" or "valuable", doesn't it?
We're one of 5 teams with both a top 5 offense and a top 5 defense.
We're the #7 ranked team in the NBA, with all the momentum and time on our side.

Uhmmm.. its not "just for the hell of it".... It's inevitable given 1) the number of draft picks we have, 2) the amount of cap space we have, and 3) the fact that we still have an unbalanced roster.
I love this team as much as the next guy, but I am not under the illusion that any change in personel would be a step down.
But I agree with the sentiment to replace "plucky" with good. This team has continued to rise to the occasion and deliver. In science, there is a problem solving principle called Occam's razor, which basically says that unless you have reason to believe otherwise, the simplest explanation is the most likely to be correct. Certainly the simplest explanation for the Celtic's success is simply that they are a good team.

Thank God Danny has common sense!
We are in a very commanding position come the summer and we call the shots not other teams.
Good job Danny!

Shamrock,
Not surprisingly, the players you named: Thomas, Crowder, Bradley, Smart and, to a lesser degree, Kelly are the exact same 5 players Mannix and others were reporting getting the most trade interest.
You have a GM's eye for talent.

You are being too kind - recognizing the value of IT, Jae, AB, and Marcus doesn't indicate that I have a GM's eyes, just that I have eyes....

I keep
Smart - No need to explain why!
Bradley - Good off the bench guy in a deeper team.
Turner - Again good off the bench guy in a deep team.
Crowder - Starter or off the bench - pure energy - no need to explain further.
Thomas - Pure energy and can break down a defense. Now acquiring leadership skills.
Everyone else is trade bait to add fillers or catch now release!

you should talk? you kind of did the same thing in reverse, on your first post back, the big one, all you did besides claim everything you ever said was right, the only player you praised over and over was KO, like KO was the only player responsible for the teams success. KO's numerous weaknesses are still there, Brads done a masterful job of hiding those and still maxing KO's strengths, his outside shooting and passing.....,,,,,but KO is no where near being the REASON or only reason we have attained a winning record.

my list of players/draft picks I would keep except for an ALL_PRO type NBA player are the same as yours, with one exception.
I would replace Turner with the Nets 2016 Lottery pick.
I have said before I like Turner myself and feel he has gotten a bad rap in the NBA die to being the second over all pick in a weak draft.
However I do feel that Ainge could upgrade at his spot next season. I could also see Turner being re-signed to a deal in the $7-9M range also as a solid move.
