I cannot find in me to be happy for the Cavs. The way things went down during this series, it was as if it was decided long before game 7 that the outcome would be what it was.
Sour grapes, you bet and I am not ashamed to admit it. I will admit that James played one hell of a series. That is as far as I will go.

You might find the games more enjoyable to watch, if you have a major rooting interest in one of the teams, if you could eliminate a losers syndrome attitude.

The game was there for the taking at 89-89 when LeBron had another run down block this time against Iguodala with 1:50 left in the game.

Curry choked offensively and couldn't stop anyone defensively.
Kerr's decision to switch on defense turned out to be a main reason GS lost.

This is a stars league.
LeBron and Kyrie got it done in the clutch.

About time this meaningless distraction is over and we can get back to being focused on the Draft. Great game though! Didn't care for Barnes' performance but Love was OK. Lots of slots to fill on the C's this off season. Loved Green but it could be the name.

I find it hard to say that Curry choked, did you use that statement when Lebron lost? That is not fair to the Cavs, really? They played an almost perfect game, shared the ball and played great defense.

Did you ever think the kid is hurt and not saying anything? Harrison Barnes was a nothing in this series. He does not interest me in the slightest and may have cost himself some $$$$$ when his playoff performance.
This was just the Cav's year, period.

In game 7 the refs made mistakes for both teams. GS and splash brothers in particular just choked. While LJ, Kyrie, et al put a good fight.
The problem is, and I don't have any explanation, how they allowed to go to game 7.

No teams hate Lebron and every one of them would kill to have him join them.

The only people who dislike Lebron are fans of teams who have constantly lost to him and can't appreciate his otherworldly talents because of the damage he has inflicted on them.

If you had a problem with him having a sharp temporary pain in his wrist when he fell on it (with no other way to break his fall) and recovered a couple minutes later to hit a crucial free throw, I imagine you had the same problem when Paul Pierce was taken off the court in a wheelchair (!) during a Laker playoff game only to return to the court 15 minutes later playing with no trace of injury the rest of the game. Some injuries feel absolutely terrible for a few minutes and then you recover quickly.

LeBron lost last year to GS primarily because Irving and Love were out.
LeBron didn't choke at all last year when he lost. In fact, he was the best player on the floor in last year Finals also.

After the game Curry said he will not be having any surgeries or procedures.
Nobody needs to put words in his mouth that he is hurt.
He didn't shoot well, he didn't play great as a playmaker and his defense was terrible.

This was the Cavs year because they took it from GS.
To win games 5 and 7 at GS when facing elimination was just incredible.

Yup, the fix was in.  With 54 seconds to go in Game 7 it was tied and was anybody's game.  Then Kyrie Irving and Lebron happened.  The people "fixing" things must've been crapping their pants wondering if they had wasted their millions in bribes.

I enjoy the series but I did not have a dog in this fight.

I went from routing for GS but by game 3 I was leaning the other way just like a TRUMP supporter.

Lebron proved that he is a great player.  Cleveland fans have gone from burning jerseys to planning  a statue.

I'll be interested to see how/if this changes the media's infatuation with analytics. GS was clearly the darling of the analytics world. They embodied many of the most popular aspects of the analytics philosophy, and had another wordly regular season. It had almost reached the point where writers and certain fans saw basketball as a chess match between GM/coaches, where the players were merely pieces on a chess board; just like a chess master knows exactly what a castle can do, the modern GM/coach knows exactly where and how a certain player can score. Funny thing is though, is that players are not chess pieces, and sometimes pawns play like knights, and knights play like pawns. Ironically, in this series, the Cleveland's King played like a queen, whereas GS best pieces couldn't quite get it done. No doubt that this will only slow the analytics tide, but for me it was nice to see humanity determine the outcome.

For some Celtics fans, the thought of LeBron being considered as good or better than Bill Russell is something they don't want to think about, so they lash out against LeBron.

I recalled the Pierce incident also. Extreme fan bias is a huge factor in issues of this nature. Speaking of putting on a show - the Garnett routine has to rate high on the drama meter.

To say that Lebron was anything less than brilliant in this series is crazy. He was virtuoistic and a maestro at the same time. Honestly, I don't get the hate. Yeah, the 'decision' was a bit much, but for all the scrutiny and analysis the guy has had to deal with, I would say he has been pretty graceful.

Curry averaged 33/7/8 in games 5, 6 and 7 when GS came back from being down 3-1 against OKC.
We can't claim that he is now hurt because of his poor performance in the Finals.
He had a remarkable, incredible season overall.
I am also glad his wife will now be off of the radar for a while.

Phil Jackson and Mark Cuban have been fined throughout their coaching and ownership careers.
They often would intentionally complain about calls in the hopes of getting the next close call.
What Kerr and Curry did happens throughout the season and playoffs by many coaches and players.

Tell us who is involved in this conspiracy?
Adam Silver? Players? Referees? Team owners?

How was the fix in for game 5?
Draymond should have been suspended in OKC but he got off lucky but rightfully got suspended for game 5.
