How are you so confident and where is your proof that there was not a fix!
I have mine by just how the officiating against Golden State turned starting in game #5.
So tell me where is your proof of a non fix????

It seems that claiming that the Fix was on is a favorite way for losers to explain why their team lost. At least that's what I've been listening to since the late 40's.

So the burden of proof or to at least provide some reasonable details is up to me and not you?
You are a jaded LeBron hater who can't accept the fact that LeBron just did what he did. Fair and square.

We can't claim that he is now hurt because of his poor performance in the Finals.
He had a remarkable, incredible season overall.
I am also glad his wife will now be off of the radar for a while.

So I guess Adam Silver is going to risk his $35 million salary to try and make sure the series goes 7 games. Because he would be forced to resign if anything like that happened on his watch, whether he orchestrated it or someone else in his office did. It would be the biggest scandal in American sports since the Black Sox conspiracy nearly 100 years ago and his head would be on the chopping block. And he'd be cool with taking that risk. Ok.........

NY Daily News writer Evan Grossman explores the Lebron hate thing. This thread seems the appropriate place to post this link:
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/basketball/people-hate-lebron-james-article-1.2681131
Key excerpt:
"The most insane thing I will argue is that despite him being the most gifted physical specimen to ever play this game and despite winning all the titles and all the MVPs, he has squandered that potential," Kitchen said. "He has coasted, rather than transcending or recreating the game in any real way, because he's simply regurgitating an 'NBA for Dummies' manual.
"He is mechanical, both on and off the court, and he does not endear himself to fans of this game. It says something that my phone blew up last night with texts from friends that were as simple as 'God, I hate LeBron' and I know multiple people who have or do work for the NBA who root for him to fail," Kitchen said. "The short answer is that LeBron is the most boring superstar the game of basketball has ever seen. He is a copy of a copy of a copy of a mimeograph, and the result is dull and unreadable."
And:
"Is three rings in seven tries impressive?" LeBron James Haters United posted this morning. "Knowing the help he got from the league, refs and the commissioner, the teammates and number 1 overall draft picks he traded, the superstar caliber players he needed, the coaches he fired, the players he got suspended, the stacked roster he wanted, the players he hand-picked and the team he dumped to be with a better team? You decide."

Re: Stupid warriors
Congratulations to CLE! After 335 minutes, the series was tied 3-3 and the score for the whole series was tied at 699-699 total points for each team. This is all about the phrase regarding the difference between winning and losing. Literally it is a game of inches and in this case seconds.
Mariano Rivera said it best. If you come out and hit my best stuff and beat me, I tip my cap to you. OK, something like that. But that was the gist of it.
Let's face it. GS had a TON of chances in the last 4 minutes to take it home. Both teams were throwing up enough bricks to build a shopping mall and turning it over like crazy. Kyrie Irving was the only one with ice water in his veins.
Whom to blame? Not Draymond Green, although one could argue he put them in this spot two games ago. On the floor, Curry, Thompson and Barnes were the no-shows from what we are accustom to seeing. Off the floor, Kerr has to take the hit as well. With last year under his belt and his on court experience with MJ and hitting the big shot(s) as well, it appears he didn't translate that championship muster to his guys very well for the last 4 minutes.
That's about it. LeBron answered the critics and a lot of questions. You have to respect his body of work on the court. He's now out of the Wilt Chamberlain Club and entered a whole new layer of the NBA atmosphere. Congratulations LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers!
Whoever said above that it's over and all we care about is Thursday is right! It's time to finally see what Danny has been up to over the last few months. Can't wait and I hope we are not disappointed!

Hi,
Lebron doesn't have time to go to LAL. He'll be 32 this December, it gives him 2-3 years of high level performance. I doubt that Lakers will be able to move enough talent to win a championship in that timeframe.

If LeBron decides to play for the Lakers (highly doubtful), I would assume he would be trying to bring another significant free agent along with him, like he did with Chris Bosh.

Yesterday David Aldridge on NBA.com had an article on the "NBA Conspiracy Theory" which was a good read.
Alas my technological skills, or lack of, on the iPad means I can't get the link, but if anyone else can and post it I think others would be interested.

Wasn't hard to find and post a link to:
http://www.nba.com/2016/news/features/david_aldridge/06/20/morning-tip-debunking-nba-finals-conspiracy-theories-ayesha-curry-stephen-curry/
Key part:
"The conspirators always involve the NBA Commissioner, the referees, the Illuminati, assorted underworld figures, singer/songwriter Irving Cohen and -- only once -- Miss Piggy. The parties all want all series to go seven games, because the longer the series goes, goes the argument, the more money the league makes.
Except, that argument is completely false.
No matter how many times one says this, those who see hidden faces and voices controlling their lives, rather than taking stock of themselves, don't listen. The money that ABC, ESPN and Turner (my bosses) paid to the NBA was paid out when the new television contracts were signed last year. The league already has the money. It does not get another farthing if any series goes four, five, six or seven games."
Kinda shoots down 112288's (or anyone else's) argument that the league would make extra money the longer the series went.

Re: Stupid warriors
I personally have to laugh when these stupid comparisons are made.
You keep your thoughts that James is better than Russell, I will keep the thoughts and memories of all the games and championships I watched Russell led teams win (and notice I did not give all the credit to just Russell, as he never takes the credit himself).
I am tired of all thee silly comparison posts. I had said I would never get baited into one again, Now I am positive I will. I have seen them all, Russell, Jones Boys, Havlicek, Bird, McHale, Parish, KG, RA, PP,
Russell is still the greatest.
Now I am done. It is a good thing Sam is not around for these current comparisions, you all would have an earful.

Re: Stupid warriors
By the way during the Thunder series I was making comments that Russell Westbrook is outplaying Steph Curry and physically manhandling him, some said he does that to everybody. Well in the next series Kyrie Irving kicked his ass, Kyrie covered him better and again they tried to hide Steph, but Kyrie torched Thompson too and Curry whenever given the chance.....like on the game clinching 3 pointer. So not only is the MVP no where near as good as Lebron, a very obvious statement, hes not even the best point guard on the floor these last 2 series. Curry got exposed as a player with questionable passing skills in leading a team or initiating offense when your shot is off. All the truly great players, if your shot is off, you can still help your team in other areas.....Curry couldn't do this at all, his decision making skills need a whole lot of work. He averaged 2 assists a game during this Finals, where was the Steve Nash part of his game?. There sure is a big difference between regular season ball and playoff basketball.

Curry averaged 3.7 assists per game in the Finals, not 2. He averaged 5.2 assists for all playoff games this year. And 5.8, 7.0 and 7.2 assists for the three playoff runs the previous three seasons. No one ever said he was Steve Nash or had anywhere near Nash's passing skills. But then Nash never averaged 25.7 points in playoff games like Curry has. Yes, he got outplayed by both Westbrook and Kyrie, but those guys will outplay virtually any other point guard in head to head matchups. That's why it's a team game. Cleveland had Lebron who was obsessed with bringing a title to that city and was not going to be denied. Your Curry bashing is over the top. He's a back-to-back MVP and a shooter the likes of which we have never seen before. And he can pass. Not like Steve Nash tho. BTW, Curry would have had a bunch more assists if Harrison Barnes hadn't gone 5 for 32 his last three games. Just sayin'.

Re: Stupid warriors
Rosalie,
I don't think there was one post in this thread where someone said LeBron was better than Russell.
My opinion is that Jordan is the best of all time.
You have every right to disagree with me and feel Russell was the greatest of all time.
I brought up LeBron as an all-time great.
I feel he's in the top 5 of all time.
But, this thread has focused on a crazy conspiracy theory that has no proof or merits.
Why can't we just accept it when the team we are rooting for loses?
Cleveland scratched out a very close win.
Lebron coming back to Cleveland and winning a championship in year two is incredible. Playing in the Finals six years in a row in today's NBA is incredible.

over the top? I was nice, I didn't even mention how much he turns the ball over and over and over, hes the fockin MVP and can't even guard other players at his position? Kyrie wanted him and played the best defense of his life on Steph, if he was a real player with any balls at all, he wouldn't let his coach always protect his pussy ass. Russell Weatbrook is one thing, I agree he needs protecting from that force, but Kyrie? come on man, Kyrie is 5'!!", that was pathetic. NOW I'm bashing....,,,, the system oriented star that is a product of the system, more than best player, no way is he best player in the league!!!! Hes not even best point in his conference, he should have figured out a way to feed Thompson or Green in that 4th and failed bigtime when one or two good old fashioned passes could have easily led to his team winning game 7.

Curry's turnovers in the Finals: 4.3 per game
Lebron's turnovers in the Finals: 4.4 per game
Westbrook's turnovers this year's playoffs: 4.3 per game
Every player who handles the ball on 90% of possessions will have a fairly high turnover rate. Curry's stand out more because he made a couple of big ones in the fourth quarter of Game 7 and his team lost, with GS shooting 0 for 9 in the last five minutes. If Kyrie's three pointer doesn't go in and Lebron's block attempt on Igoudala is a fraction of a second later, no one's talking about Curry's turnovers. People might mention Lebron's five turnovers in the final game as one of the reasons for the loss. By the way, I didn't include Kyrie's 2.3 turnovers in the comparison because it's Lebron's passing that sets up the offense for the Cavs. Not Kyrie's.

I don't have to tell you that Lebron led the Finals in every statistical category and it was first time that was ever done....when a point guard avg's more turnovers than assists, I'd say your in trouble.
