Most wins in college basketball history, men or women.
Medal of freedom winner.
Basketball Hall of Fame inductee.
Declined an offer to coach the men's team at Tennessee.
Simply among the greatest coaches in the history of basketball. Pat Summit belongs in the conversation with Wooden, Smith, Allen, Iba, Krzyzewski, Auerbach and a select few others.
Nice video with Jeremy Schaap narrating from ESPN;

Re: R.I.P. Pat Summitt
God Bless Her, she was a wonderful coach, but more importantly and wonderful person. Whoever she coached was forever touched by having her in their lives. She put up a good fight, one that ended so soon. She is up watching over her family and friends now. A great person, again, gone too soon.
