How many games does Horford help us win in 2017?

I very much like the Horford addition, but wonder what everyone thinks will be his impact on our total 2017 win totals.

Figuring that if the roster does not change from where it is right now (adding Horford and Brown while subtracting Young and Turner) how many more games
than 48 will we win next season?

I do realize that the roster is not likely to remain as it is and I also realize that Young is (unfortunately) still on the roster.

I see the addition of basically just Horford being worth five more wins.

Think we need to wait till the roster shakes out and other teams finish up whatever moves they make. I'd revisit this during preseason.

I'm optimistic for an improvement for sure.

Horford over Sully- sure I thunk that's an upgrade overall. But we lose a bit on the rebounding end. I can see maybe 4-6 more wins.

Brown over Turner- THIS YEAR?.......not an upgrade sorry. IN the future, likely a big upgrade. how it effects the wins NEXT year...MINUS 4 to me.

we still have to see if we lose both Zeller and Sully and if we lose either who replaces them.

right now I think we're about at the same win totals as last year myself.

I'm with most of you guys.  I'm at 6 more.

P.S.  When is the league going to drop the East vs. West Finals and go for a uni-league playoff format?  Any word on that?

Yeah, I'm not looking at some dramatic increase, although I'd like to see where the roster and schedule settles before making any bold predictions. I expect Horford and Brown will make the roster much better in time, but there are complimentary pieces to develop or acquire yet. We just don't know who, how or when. I think we played a little over our heads last year, no complaint at all there, but teams will be ready to adjust against us. At this point I'd actually like to see us keep Sully, although I've been saying let him walk. I think he'll be better suited to pairing with Horford on the front like than Kelly. If Brown is truly NBA ready, and I think he could be, that will help tremendously. Some real positive steps have been made, anyway.
