I Would Love To See Tyrus Thomas A Celtic

Everyone knows how much I would like Bosh on the Celtics next season. I have suggested the Celtics do everything they can get Bosh in Celtic green. While they are at it, I suggest they go after Tyrus Thomas as well. Everytime I see Thomas play, I see a whirlwind of talent, aggression, and anger. I see no frontline player with more physical talent. His jumpshot improves each season. He covers the floor like no other. His maturity has yet to catch up with his talent.

The maturity I believe the Celtics can do something about. Given Garnett is still here next season, he would be quite a positive mentor to Thomas. He could redirect that fire into positive floor play, and yet not diffuse the fire in Thomas heart. Thomas on a wing is just what the Celtics need to run the floor offensively and cover the floor defensively.

Thomas, Bosh, and Perkins on the frontline could play for years together, and provide the Celtic fans with some of the most exciting play in Celtic history when collaborating with Rondo and Robinson. The Celtics could then concentrate on aquring the next big 2 guard in the draft or future trade, free agent down the line.
