Invite him to camp, kick the tires, take him for a test drive or two.

Any defensive, rebounding type center is worth taking a look at, but this guy may have to many skeletons in his large closet.  He used to be a decent player and is not too old to possibly still be a decent player.

I agree with Gyso, invite him and take a look at him if it can be determined that his demons are now behind him.  Sometimes things in the old closet can be conquered and sometimes they cannot be.

I doubt a proven NBA talent like Sanders is going to come to camp without a guaranteed contract, even if it is just for the veterans minimum.

He is a poor man's Cousins. Had issues with Mil Bucks. Can get him cheap.

Invite to camp and see how much rust is on him. If he performs like an animal sign him to 1 year plus team option for a second year.
