Abdel Nader's agent Cervando Tejeda confirms the 2nd-rd pick will play for the Maine Red Claws. "He wants to stay committed to the Celtics."

Didn't he say he would sign with the Claws on draft night? If so, why would we think he wouldn't stay true to his word?

Good move for the Cs as this guy will now be only an hour away if they need him, but not sure why he did not take an overseas spot where he likely would have gotten much more money.

Being with Portland he will have to likely begin his NBA career as a mid season call up and start from the 15th roster spot position. If overseas and doing well he would force the Cs to pay him more for next season.

Oh well, either way he may get a chance to make the Cs if everything goes well for him.
