Re: Sully out indefinitely
i was surprised that he did not have foot/ankle problems when he was with the Cs with the unnecessary weight he was carrying.
Too bad, now that he has lost some weight he gets a foot issue that requires surgery.

Update on the Sully situation.

They seem to be quite optimistic about his recovery.

Re: Sully out indefinitely
This will obviously hurt the Raptors depth early in the season and hopefully allow the Celtics to put some distance between them in the Atlantic Division.
On a side note, if the Raptors are desperate for a PF I would entertain the idea of trading them Mickey for their #1 pick in 2017. They'll likely think the pick will be in the 24-27 range, which would not be too much value to give up for a guy drafted in the low 30's, under contract 3 more seasons (for peanuts), still improving and who could replace some of Biyombo's shot-blocking as well as Sully's PF mins.
Of course, Toronto's pick could dip into the 18-23 range in a deep draft and Mickey could not improve much on his current fringe rotation skills, which would make the trade skewed pretty heavily in our favor.
Also never a good idea to trade within the division.

Sully is a good kid from a great family with ton of potential. But like Big Baby, has to really be careful to not eat his way out of a career
