I really don't consider on anything here an era.

Heck if we found his real birth certificate he's probably in his 40's.

He would only have been here if the Celtics got the 2nd pick and the team picking first took Durant. Which almost no teams in the running at the time were planning to. Obviously not the Blazers.

Ainge said before Oden was a bust that he'd have picked Durant over him, even if he had the #1 pick.

Portland is hell on superstar centers that are early draft picks. Sad to think of what greg might have been without the curse.

I don't know much about Oden, but he was pretty good in college before getting hammered with injuries.

Unfortunately, he is just another example of a young guy probably trying to hang his entire life on basketball.
We are all one (or more?) injury away from never playing again.
