How's Thon Maker doing you ask?

And here are his per 36 minute numbers on the season:  29.25 points, 18 rebounds.

Then again, he's only played a TOTAL of 16 minutes, and all of those minutes were against other teams' second units, so those numbers might be just A TAD misleading. They sure look nice though.  And so does his jumper.  He's also shooting a decent 66.7% on threes.  But he's only taken three of them, so he might not be able to keep up that pct. I'm guessing it'll go down...

Gotta admit, his first 16 minutes as a pro get your attention.  I'm not ready to pencil him in for the Hall Of Fame however.  

But I would've liked to see him wear a different green uni than the one he currently wears.

ummmm...the 28year old rookie is averaging 2.3 pt and 1.8 rebounds per game in a whopping 13 minutes of action.

settle down.

Speaking of, I wonder where Arambone went to.

As far as Thon Maker goes: He has never played in a good college system, like Duke or Kansas or Kentucky, where you know he's being taught "what's what". Additionally, he is physically-challenged in every way except up.

Nevertheless 16 minutes, total, doesn't sound like a #10 pick, does it?

Are we really going to over analyze a guy who has 4 career fg's and 3 fouls?

Maker is buried deep on Milwaukee's bench, rarely playing, only in garbage time.

If truth be told, I have played only 16 minutes less in the NBA this season than the 10th pick in the draft.

Hi TJ, haven't seen you in a bit (Happy belated Birthday).

Maker was a highly touted draftee, who went 10th. Lottery. As you have pointed out, he is buried deep on Milwaukee's bench. Is that worth over analyzing? No. Is that worth mentioning and wondering out loud why? Sure, this is a sports forum.

Obviously, with Thon only playing 16 minutes of blowouts this season this thread's premise is tongue-in-cheek.  But since he was the subject of immense speculation on this board all last Spring and up to the draft I decided to dust off his name again.  Mainly because that clip I saw of him hitting a three with Birdman falling down.

Certainly not over-analyzing anything.  Just having some fun.

I will say that I was intrigued by Thon. I' still hoping he turns into a good player - I really liked the kid's attitude. But the link/video implying he "broke Birdman's ankles" is ridiculous - Anderson tripped.
