Boston's biggest weapon is their smallest player, the lightning-quick Isaiah Thomas, who's averaging 30 points per game over the past month. We don't really have anyone who can guard him. I wonder if Coach Quin will give Alec Burks a try.

I am on an airplane and many of us are taller than the Celtics leading scorer.

Go Jazz!!! They're 5½ point dogs in this road matchup, this is a potential character builder... I have a feeling the C's are gonna be quite amped up for this. I suspect they're gonna try to throw the kitchen sink at Rudy early and often.

I'm gonna listen to what the Celtics commentators have to say about Hayward to get a feel for their interest, etc.

I really hope Hill is cleared for today's game because otherwise IT will have a field day against Mack...

Years spent at Utah: 7 (3 w/Snyder at year’s end)
To whom does Hayward have more of a connection?

You've never heard them before? Haha.. you're in for a wild ride. Especially the expert commentator. He once scold the referee to "GO HOME" on the air after a call he didn't like.

Hood v Bradley is the matchup I'm most interested in. Bradley has a bit of a Gobert type of rep where he gives top matchups at the position fits.

Remember when Favors didn't suck?

You can say that about anyone not named Hayward, Gobert, or Ingles. At least Favors has a good reason for "sucking".

Lyles should start jumping into players when he gets them in the air, seems to work for everyone else. I don't like the Boston court.

I quite like the Celtics team but I can't stand their colour commentator, he's the most infuriatingly homer commentator in the world!

Celtics are an especially tough matchup given it's in their house on the back end of our back to back. They're talented, deep, well rounded, good offensive players and some excellent defenders and well coached. I think their weakness is defensive rebounding so I hope Favs and Gobert crash the offensive boards.

I get the feel of a Lennox Lewis style boxing match, with the Jazz being Lennox and feeding Boston a steady dose of jabs. It's like they're sizing em up/waiting for em to tire out.

Hayward has been unusually bad on the defensive end this game Given crowder 8 easy points at least

Watching Hood try to defend him is excruciating. He's an ok defender in general, but against Thomas, it's not even close.

Abby Chin, the BOS version of Kristen Kenny is pretty fantastic.

Also Quin can't find the right line up, he takes way too long in doing so. Personally I would be going with JJ at the 4 and exploiting Thomas lack of defense, whether that be shooting over him or backing him down into the post.

I've never understood why teams don't take advantage of Thomas' lack of size/defence. It should be so obvious but doesn't happen all that often.

Boston isnt a team they can play like this and come back on the last few minutes. bad habits gonna catch up tonight.

Refs are making it difficult. Boston is being allowed to play very physically and they are letting it go. Meanwhile, the Jazz are getting called for touch fouls. If that doesn’t change it will be tough to come back in this one.

I'm sad that watching Jazz games has essentially become a test of self control for me I fail this test every night thanks to Shelvin Mack. Bless his heart, but I hate watching him play so much.

I recall a game where Isaiah Thomas was TORCHING the Jazz when he was on the Kings and they put Alec Burks on him and he was by-far the best defensive option they had.

Man, Thomas has hit two incredible shots on Hayward and Favors.

Thomas is SO good now! He's borderline superstar.

Thomas is on 14 points and 12 assists and it's not even halfway through the 3rd! He's on pace for 20 assists. He is absolutely tearing us apart!

Normally I say we are just on a scoring drought just because, but today it's flat out because Boston's defence has been excellent all game.

Boston has had some nice cutting this game. I wish our offense had more of that.

IT's defensive RPM is league worst -3.75. You have to make him work and pay for being the midget that he is.

I was about to say this. I wouldn't even be mad at him either (I may be upset in general though). They are closer to being a contender than we are, especially being in the east. If Hayward goes to Boston this summer, Boston would battle Cleveland for best team in the east, Imo.

I wonder what Sacramento feels like trading away IT. Cousins needs another star to pair with him, and they had IT right there. They would have been helluva combo right now.

Make no mistake about it, Boston is a good team and they are well coached. Why do I say well coached? Good set plays and they actually played excellent defense.

I'm no fan of the Celtic style of play. With refs who are paying more attention to their tactics, half the Celtics would've fouled out tonight.
