Thibs is an idiot. He gave up too much for Butler and now he expects an equal return.

He needs to take the hit and move on.

Actually, Jason was drafted last summer, 2017. So that draft pick may have been in the mix.

I should also add that Butler was a viable option before we got Hayward and Iriving. It is impossible to look into the future and know what willl be!

almost two years ago now.

things have certainly changed both for the Celtics and fro Butler since then.

heck only 4 of the players on that roster are even still here today...Horford, Brown, Smart and Rozier.

Kinda hard to believe that much turnover in less than two years AND we are now one of the top teams the NBA.

at the time I still think it was valid proposal, but I am glad we are where we are instead. I;ll take Tatum over Butler all day , every day now.
