Re: Happy Patriots Day!
Patriots Day is (as far as I know) only celebrated in two states. One of the states is Massachussetts (which is actually a commonwealth) and the other state is a former part of Massachussetts, which broke away and is called Maine.

You are right, but we should all celebrate. The Battle of Lexington & Concord, the first engagement of the British!

112288,
Oh, I didn't mean you couldn't or shouldn't celebrate Patriots Day if you don't live in Mass or Maine. I was just pointing out the two states where the banks, schools, and state, county, and municipal offices would be closed.

Re: Happy Patriots Day!
I know , I know but some just figure it is a way for Mass & Maine residents to get an extra day off with no real meaning behind the day. Thanks Gyso!
