All those teams? There were only three. He is really reaching for some fake drama there.
I'm glad we didn't pick him.

He really put that out there?,that is a young man with a chip on his shoulder. Is he ticked because he worked out for the Celtics late last night and did not get drafted by them???
Putting a lot of pressure on himself now

Good night all. I will watch the rest and not know who the second round picks are!!!! Have a good rest of the night.
Still looking forward to free agency and a signing that will make us feel like we are moving forward. Remember those three Golden Start all stars came from the draft. Durand was the only one signed in free agency. So Danny may be doing this the right way. Time will tell

I think Jackson`s skill set duplicates guys we already have. Ainge is obviously all in with IT and the Celtics needed another guy who can create for himself to take some of the pressure off him. Both guys will probably have solid careers, but Tatum may have more immediate value. Anyway, its a shooters league. MLB has become home runs and strikeouts. The NBA is following a similar model. We`ll find out who`s better. Don`t forget we passed on Fultz too.

CBS Sports is grading the picks. The first six all got A's, except #4. The Jackson pick got an A-.
Use the link at the beginning of this thread to see the rest of the grades.

Re: Draft On! Celtics vs. The World - June 22, 2017
OK, had to post from my phone in the dugout while my kid was striking out the side. Wicked fastball and changeup tonight.
Tatum is an incredible pick. Most NBA ready pick in the draft, and at a position we desperately need to improve at.
I don't know what this Paul George stuff is about, but it would be sheer stupidity to trade this pick for what amounts to a rental. Give 'em Jerebko, Kelly and one of the popcorn vendors, but don't get suckered here. George is a rental.
We've got a long-term solution we need who should quickly earn starting minutes. If Ainge screws this up, it's time to remove the "genius" label. If he stands pat, he can keep it. This one is a no-brainer.
Now, let's go get some bigs!

Thanks gyso!
I swear, the kid has more movement on his changeup at 13 than I did at 18. Then again, some of the stuff that got hit off me is still in orbit.

What did I lie about?
For weeks I've been telling you Jackson is not going to become a Celtic.
If Jackson became a Celtic then it's a different story.
But right now I was proven right for disagreeing with you about Josh Jackson being Ainge's guy.

Tonight we got a decision and the decision was not in your favor.
Time to move on.

There's a difference between guessing Jackson would be a Celtic and declaring factually that he would be. But you already know that.

Naturally you would try to backup your claim about why Jackson should be Ainge's choice.
You were so busy posting stats and articles about Josh Jackson, you couldn't see the forest for the trees.
I knew Jackson wasn't going to the Celts when multiple times he refused to workout for the Celts.
Ainge is not going to draft a player that he has not seen up close and personal.
