could Kelly be traded before July 1? Put him in the package for Phi! He is crazy if
he really thinks he is getting that amount of players, especially Jaylen Brown

It is pretty clear Jae Crowder is on the trading block, maybe not tonight but he definitely is gone, Unless something else happens, this is pretty obvious.

Phil Jackson is never going to get what he is asking for not only from the Celtics but other teams. I personally think he is playing games, and making a fool out of himself while doing it

Or keeping Danny on the phone so he can't make another deal?

I need a nap already.

Brian Windhorst just said on ESPN that the Clippers offered DeAndre Jordan for the 3rd pick to select Josh Jackson, and Boston didn't do it.

rambone,

As Jacksons biggest backer on this board, I have to give you credit for your continued promotion of him as the best choice for the Celtics.

as I said in the prediction thread, I agree with you, that he IS Danny's best choice, especially at #3. I also think he may have been Danny's choice at #1 as well.

well done.

As a leading draft expert, I'm used to critics coming around to my way of thinking.

KDP was very against my Josh Jackson praise, and stressed that I wasn't a draft expert even though I play one on the internet (passed 1 million views today).

My brag was 3/4 in jest, and 1/4 common knowledge Laughing

Rmbone,

A MAJOR statement, in my opinion, of the type of team Danny wants to build. He does NOT want a DeAndre Jordan/Dwight Howard/Hassan Whiteside type of player. He wants a mobile big who can shoot from outside. This is one reason why Kelly might get re-signed despite all his flaws and warts. He's Brad and Danny's type of big.

One might say that a #3 is a lot for Jordan, but he is 3x NBA All-Leaguer (1x First team, 2x 3rd team), 2x All-Defensive First Team, 2x NBA Rebounding Leader. And Danny still doesn't think he's worth the #3.

That is a major development. How old is Jordan? he is going to regret not staying with Cuban after LA trades him

And a major statement about how highly Josh Jackson's talent is respected inside the NBA, regardless of what the internet consensus was.

I wasn't ever "very against" Josh Jackson at all. I didn't hold him as high as Fultz at #1 thats all.

I do find it funny that you cannot accept others who give you credit and just say thanks.

but it is what it is.

good luck in your youtube business.

Watching The Vertical.

Mike Schmitz is saying that Tatum would be best being moved out to the 4.

205#? Playing defense at 4?

Exactly, and he has very skinny legs. This upside to fill out his body isn't really there. And he can't defend like Jackson. Jackson would even be a better PF, not to mention a better PG, SG, and SF

The Vertical is saying that if Porzingis was in this draft class he'd be #1 and everybody else would be a distant 2nd.

Frank Isola: There is talk of Boston trying to make a deal with Minnesota to acquire the No. 7 pick. That could be part of a bigger Porzingis trade. 34 mins ago – via Twitter FisolaNYDN

Yup, but Jackson's wingspan is 1" shorter than Tatum, or half an inch on each end. And people wanna think that makes a big difference. Why? Because it can be measured, unlike talent.
