LOVE watching the hawks GO DOWN!!!
What a great game in Atlanta tonight.
The Hawks were up by 15 - and prancing around like the champs of the world....AND THEN - Milwaukee showed their mettle and dug deep for an unreal comeback.
Salmons, Jennings, Delfino, Ridnour, Ilyasova with great hustle, Kurt Thomas knocking people around and taking NO CRAP from the Hawks or their fans.
Bibby, Smith, Crawford were all NO SHOWS in the biggest game of the season.
I think I dislike the Hawks almost as much as the Cavs and the Lakers. Love seeing them lose.

Certainly without Bogut, the effort Skiles is extracting from the Bucks is admirable, and can serve as a sign of hope for the Celtics that there is a way to accomplish what can seemingly be a very daunting task. Brandon Jennings' year in Europe served him well.-MD

MD,
I agree. Skiles is doing one hellaciously good coaching job without a very key player.
Gotta love it when those young Atlanta whippersnappers get their comeuppance.

Some teams make it easy to root against them.
Denver is another team to me. Constantly acting like fools, running around like they never commit fouls - throwing elbows - generally acting like punks. Gonna be sweet to see Utah knock them out in Salt Lake in the next game.

mrkleen: I can't feel annimosity towards Denver, simply because George Karl is going through such a tough time with his cancer treatment. I sort of wish the Nuggets could stay in it at least for his sake.-MD.

I like Karl, but that has nothing to do with people like JR Smith, Kenyon Martin, Carmello, Chris Anderson - I would be hard pressed to find a guy other than Chauncey that I actually like on that team.

mrkleen,
I like Anderson. He has IQ and heart. He's also a redemption story, which is always nice. Ty Lawson looks like he might be something someday.
The rest of your list can take a long walk off a short pier.

And, of course, I'm rooting like hell for George Karl.

I went to bed last night thinking that the Hawks had won their game. They
should learn some lessons from this game, but I doubt it. They are a bunch of immature basketball players who love to celebrate long before a game is over.
Josh Smith is the worst of them all. He is going to rue the day that he rubbed the faces of opposing teams in his celebrating. It is sickening. I am sure the Bucks are digging as deep as they can just to beat these guys.

If you like watching the Hawks lose, even if they survive this series, I think they'll get eaten like a wildebeest by a large lion in the next series. Orlando will have them for lunch.mrkleen09 wrote:What a great game in Atlanta tonight.
