They are saying all the right things. Here's hoping they are able to reach the goals they are setting for themselves.

Kyrie and Hayward did an excellent job at the news conference.
It seems quite clear that they came to Boston because the Celtics franchise is really special. The praise heaped on Brad Stevens has set the tone for a very positive first step.
Training camp begins in 3 1/2 weeks
The idea that us fans would be looking at a team that made an almost complete makeover is truly amazing.

The idea that us fans would be looking at a team that made it to the EC Finals, and made an almost complete makeover, is beyond amazing.
In a cross-sport metaphor, Danny is really swinging for the fences. He isn't even thinking about just getting the bat on the ball, moving the runners ahead or even protecting the plate. He's parking it, or he's sitting down. Period.

Much as some of us were very reluctant about this trade, I find myself getting a little excited about the approaching season. I think Danny has his eyes out for "that one last player". Let's see what happens.

Of course ... I made that comment in the context of all that was accomplished last year.
