Press Conference on Comcast at 10:00 AM
I just read that Comcast will break away from the Baseball Show to air the 10:00 AM presser. I have set up my DVR and will see if it is true. I'll bet the video will be available later on their web page.
I just checked, here is a link:

J. Sherrod Blakely left and then came back. A quick check on what's holding things up?

Speaking of weight, how's Fab Melo's waistline? We used to have Shaq and Big Baby on the same team. Now it seems lke everyone on the Celts is trim.
Re: Press Conference on Comcast at 10:00 AM
It's gotta be the Jason Terry sign and trade effort that is holding things up. Who can we send to the Mav's?, that is the question.

After that meal at Pete's I shouldn't be calling anyone else Bubble Butt.

worcester,
I don't believe I ever called Sully "bubble-butt", not that I'd have a problem with that. Rick Mahorn used his very effectively to keep players behind him on the boards and going waaaay around him on picks.

J. Sherrod Blakely left again. I checked his twitter page, nothing there except the notice of this "10:00 AM" live presser.
Is Waltham, MA on the west coast? (LOL)

gyso,
You got me thinking, so I just reviewed all the Game On threads for this week.
The only post that seems to connect to what you said was one by beat, in the last game against Orlando, regarding Sully getting the day off:
Perhaps just want to get a better look at the others, Sully is gonna be on the team, couple of the bubble players need a better look, just a guess.
Maybe his back is acting up??? (Kidding).
You saw "Sully" and "bubble" and your mind moved in its own way.

What a disappointment. I hope Danny's wheeling and dealing in the interim. My apologies Bob for the Bubble Butt brouhaha.

Re: Press Conference on Comcast at 10:00 AM
WALTHAM - A day meant to officially welcome prized free-agent acquisition Jason Terry to the Celtics, and welcome Brandon Bass, Jeff Green and Chris Wilcox back in the fold, took a bizarre turn at the team practice facility this morning when Celtics president of basketball operations Danny Ainge opened the press conference by announcing the Bass and Wilcox signings, but added that the team has yet to reach official deals with Green and Terry.
Ainge refused to discuss what the possible holdups are in the contracts – whether there is a problem with the deals themselves, or whether the team is simply trying to work them to give it the most flexibility under the new collective-bargaining agreement – and only said he hoped to get them done soon.
“We still have some things we are working out with Jason and Jeff,” Ainge said. “We hope to resolve those in the near future.”
Green and Terry were both allowed to sit in on the press conference, and answered questions, but team officials claimed they were not allowed to make them available for one-on-one interviews. They watched from the landing overlooking the court while the media spoke further with Bass, Wilcox, and eventually again with Ainge.
Ainge did say in his own one-on-one interview after the press conference that Kevin Garnett has officially signed his contract – believed to be for three years at about $34 million.
“We’re hopeful we’ll get them done next week,” said Ainge of the Green and Terry contracts, adding that he did not expect the deals to be signed today when he arrived at the practice facility for a press conference that started an hour late. “We think there’s a good chance we get a deal done so we wanted to introduce them to the media today so they wouldn’t have to come back for that.”
For their part, Green and Terry talked as if they would both be Celtics next season.
“I’m still smiling from the phone call I got from (Celtics coach) Doc (Rivers),” Terry said. “He was the first one that called me. I’m just excited about being a part of the Celtic organization, the franchise, obviously the heritage and the tradition by just putting that jersey on.
“What KG, Paul Pierce, (Rajon) Rondo have done in the present, just being a part of that and continuing to carry that on. My championship nature, my competitive fire and desire to win again, is what is driving me. I knew I would be a free agent this summer, and watching the playoffs seeing them one game away (from the NBA Finals) I envisioned myself wearing a Celtic uniform.
“God willing it happened, it will happen very soon.”
Said Green, whose season last year was wiped out when an aortic aneurysm was detected and he underwent heart surgery in January: “I had big hopes last year prior to the season starting. Unfortunately, I had a minor setback. I feel I had unfinished business (in Boston).
“I worked hard to get in the shape I was in and get my game to the level it was at in order to help the team get that extra win to make it to the championship round. Hopefully, I can bring that energy and skill level to help this team make it to the Finals.”
