Willy Hernangomez anyone?

The Knicks have been kicking the tires on their options at the trade deadline and one of the players more likely moved than not is big man Willy Hernangomez. under contract on a cheap second round pick deal for an additional year after this ad then a cheap non-guaranteed year.

not much of a shot blocker or 3 point shooter, but has some skills as a big.

I would expect he could be had for our late 1st this coming year, might have to send back Nader to match his contract.

Difficult to tell much about this guy (although I am sure that Ainge has watched plenty of film on him) as he seemed to play well when he first joined the Knicks, but now does not play very much.

The questions I would see would relate to why such a young guy has not only not developed, but also why he seems to have regressed to have his minutes reduced each year he has been with the Knicks.
