Toronto still on the doorstep
As Cleveland continues to leak oil, maybe time to pay more attention to Toronto. Pretty similar #'s across the board and still hanging just a game behind.

Toronto is an excellent team. Last year Boston avoided them in the playoffs.
I am not certain we can beat them in a series without adding more fire power. They have quietly flying under the radar all year. We have a game coming up with them on the 6th.

Re: Toronto still on the doorstep
31 games left in the regular season and a lot can happen in that time, but I believe the C's will hold on to their #1 position in the East for the playoffs.
Toronto would be a tough matchup for the C's in a series and hopefully, they'll get knocked out by another team.
If the playoffs were to start today, the C's would be playing Philly, with Det and the Knicks right behind for that 8th spot. I am a bit concerned about Det . . . their recent acquisition of Griffin, if he's healthy, playing alongside Drummond is a tough match-up for the C's in the frontcourt. He's their X-factor. I'm not too worried about playing Philly or the Knicks in a series.

Toronto is rumored to be trying to make a splash at the trade deadline, if they do and we stand pat, it could be a real tough battle for the Celtics. Toronto plays them tough.
That back court of theirs is one of the best in the NBA, so it will be an interesting next 8 days until the deadline.

Toronto has been pretty good all year, and are now only an inch behind the Cs in the East. If they can find a way to improve themselves in the next week they could easily beat us to the regular season finish line.
Finishing either just ahead of them or in second (right behind them) would mean that we could only meet them in the Eastern Conf finals.

Toronto is in a win now situation. They could use another SG.
