Should be a tough Game, early start time on the road against a top team. It would be quite the feat if the Blazers can pull out a win here.

So, in keeping with the theme of the season, Blazers draw Boston when they are missing Kyrie Irving, Marcus Smart, Marcus Morris, and Shane Larkin

I really hate it when you click on homepage and you see a pic of Tatum and your heart skips a beat thinking that your team finally traded for a Small Forward.

Don't even think they would trade Tatum for CJ straight up

No one would. You couldn’t get Tatum for CJ even if you added 2 1st.

Only because he's on a rookie deal and CJ making max. You guys kinda over hyping Tatum.

Celtics missing half their roster. Should hopefully net a win for Portland.

Watch Celtics role players have a field day with us. I expect Rozier to drop like 25.

Baynes (just like all the Aussies) always takes a step back, and plays the team game in the NBA. He (they) sacrifices his (their) game(s) for the good of the team. I've seen Baynes best both Jokic, and Valanciunas in FIBA. I'm really looking forward to the Nurkic - Baynes matchup. At worst, Baynes is 6 fouls they can throw at us to keep Horford on the court.

Since the game is in Boston, on this weekend, the chances of us getting a fair call game is slim to none.

Kylie and Smart are both now listed as OUT for this one. We really need a win here.

I wont say we should win this cause they miss Kyrie (+ Smart and Morris), they are 1st seed on the east so they should be respected   However, I do believe we have bigger chance of winning with them out

I don't want to hear about how this is Boston's B team Irving is the only major absence, and that’s mitigated somewhat by Rozier, who plays a lot more in his absence. Marcus Smart is a mixed bag for them. I would love to have him taking shots from guys like Tatum. Marcus Morris is garbage.

And, you know, Hayward.

But they have the best record in the East without Hayward playing a full game

Why mention him? he’s been out for the entire season, but suddenly him not playing matters?

Because this is Boston's B team. It’s been Boston’s B team most of the season.

What a great built-in excuse for them for every single loss they’re not making that excuse, why would you? It’s also not as simple as that. With Hayward out, a guy like Tatum has had a bigger role. They don’t simply have a Hayward-sized hole in how good they are.

Normally missing Smart wouldn't matter, but that means they are missing their starting and backup PGs tonight

Credit where credit is due. The Celtics made a ton of TOUGH shots down the stretch. That's a good team. I really wish we could see them with a healthy Hayward in the playoffs this season.

Tatum, Brown, and rozier hit the most insane shots I ever saw in that last stretch. The horford one was a good look. Like I said he got space o that fade away check the replay. Aminu on him was a terrible mistake

I actually looked at BOS salaries to take a look at if this was even feasible and it isn't. Outside of their studs all their other players make peanuts. I have to give them props. They have really managed the payroll very well.

Boston has a lot of shot-makers Give them credit. Blazers didn’t fall apart. Boston made more plays.

Boston, even without Smart, Morris, and Kyrie, is a really good team and that last shot was incredible.

Any team that has Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, and Al Horford is doing just fine

Stevens outcoached Stotts He had Brown make his move early so we would use the foul to give (knowing that we would). Than he made sure Horford shot at the buzzer to avoid Lillard taking the last shot.

So his master plan was to have a guy shoot a turnaround 20-footer at the buzzer? Coach of the Year, right there!

An all star who loves the mid range shot? Yes

Credit where credit's due: Horford hit a clutch buzzer beater against good defense.

We just need a starting forward who isn't handicapped at basketball.

Losing on a buzzer-beater is heartbreaking, but there were a lot of things to like about this game. And I think if Kyrie was playing, it wouldn’t have been close
