Would you sign Chris Bosh ?
He wants to make a comeback and is looking for the opportunity to sign with a team before March 1.

As much as we still need bigs, I'd be concerned he can't handle the physicality of the game any longer. Seemed like he was just too run down. Too many health issues led to a swift decline. I'd probably pass.

Bosh stopped playing for the Heat because of his health. What's changed?

Might be worth a look. Without looking at his medical records, working him out, and talking to him, its pretty hard to judge.

Re: Would you sign Chris Bosh ?
would it matter?
seriously, it seems we all bought in when this team went on its early season run. But now we see what the team really is when we are down our big MAX signing player.
right now, my prediction is we end up 3rd in the east and get bounced in the first round of the playoffs by Milwaukee.
Maybe they can turn things around, but I think we are 9-9 the past 18 games. This does not appear to be a one or two week problem.

Re: Would you sign Chris Bosh ?
I would think that any team would be interested in Bosh. He was an all star type talent for quite a while, and even after a layoff, he would still be at least a very good player.
Of course, his medical issues would be a concern for anyone who may want to sign him. If he can pass whatever medical tests that he would need to pass I would sign him. He would have to sign off on his risk, but his risk is his decision.
Bosh certainly should not still need to play for just money as he has already earned enough in his career to feed about four more generations of his family. So, he wants to play ball because he is a basketball player. Could be a risk, but we all take risks every day just driving down the road to work.

Re: Would you sign Chris Bosh ?
Do you think his first choice would be to return to the Heat?
He would have to come in as a vet minimum player. If they could do it fine but I really doubt that they will make any moves for the remainder of the season. The Celtics could have really used a knock down shooter for the bench. Danny made no moves to get one.

I say no... His condition was enough to end his career, unfortunately.

There is no way you will see Danny take a chance with this guy. What does he have, a death wish. One clot, that is all it would take, and boom, he is in big trouble again.
