Tough break for Udoka last night. That second semi-final game was never in question after Villanova jumped out to a 22 - 4 lead. The Loyola vs Michigan game was a good one until very late in the 4th.
Udoka played well. Must have been an incredible thing seeing his mother for the first time in six years earlier in the day.
Monday's championship game should be fun if Michigan can keep up it's late-season momentum. If not, Villanova could end it early. If anyone wants to see a center that could be available in the draft at our likely 27 (give or take) spot, check out Michigan's Mo Wagner. He would be a good fit in Boston, assuming Mizzou's Porter, USA's Robinson, UNLV's McCoy, and USC's Metu are all gone earlier.
If Udoka declares and goes undrafted, he will be a popular post draft signing target. It would be nice to see him eventually get a shot somewhere. The wise decision for him might be to return to Kansas. I hope he does just that.
