I'm almost embarrassed to post this
None of the major news services have picked this up yet, probably for good reason. Neither LeBron nor West have confirmed nor denied this. It has gone viral on the net.

ICK!!
If this is true, Cavalier fans can pretty much forget about keeping LeBron.

bobh,
I am not sure about the authenticity of that website, but I heard the same rumor on ESPN radio a couple of days ago.

bobh,
"Somehow I guess Lebron found out before game four and it has destroyed our chemistry and divided our team."
Perhaps that explains LeBron's game 5.
If the Cav's do keep LeBron, West will surely be gone.

gyso,
Delonte is on the books next year for $4.6M. Is he worth that? Possibly. He's a good guard, plays good D and started in 2009, before his head blew up. The Cavs could get someone of decent value for him.
I don't know him, but I'm getting the impression that LBJ is the type of petty tyrant that would enjoy making West's exile a condition for his staying in Cleveland. Part of me can't blame him. Another part of me says "for Pete's sake, LeBron, the woman's old enough to be your mother! She can make her own choices who to sleep with!"
Either way, I think West needs to up his meds and, considering Delonte's fragile mental state has been more than adequately documented, it wasn't very good judgment on Gloria James' part either. Now, LeBron might be thinking that a change of venue helps him escape TWO people he doesn't want to see a lot of.

jeb,
Like a cross between Oedipus Rex by Sophocles, Othello by Shakespeare and "I'm in love with Jessie's Mom" by Fountains of Wayne.
West better hope it's not like Othello. That doesn't end well for Iago.

Re: I'm almost embarrassed to post this
Delonte might not be playing in the NBA next year. His gun trial starts in July. He is lucky he was in MD and not DC, but is still looking at jail time.
Below is from a news report:
'All of the charges are misdemeanors under Maryland law, unlike nearby Washington where similar gun charges are considered felonies. However, Ivey has established a strict policy in his tenure as State's Attorney of requesting a minimum of one-year prison sentences for all gun law offenders, even first timers such as West.'

I can now see why LeBron was so mad at his mom for getting involved in that play near the stands last year.
He must be tired of her being near the court and players so much....

gyso- with Shaq on board, and the COY's genius rotations, I don't think their chemistry was very good to start with- a weak foundation. If this is true, it certainly didn't help.
Bob- too funny.
I had heard about this right around Game 5 and assumed it was BS. But it seems to be gaining steam as time goes on, and it's def not going away. I've seen it in the press but also heard about it from some NBA-connected guys I know.
Whether true or not, though, as with James elbow, it feels like another excuse for an LBJ letdown. If he was that upset, I'd figure he would have been attacking the rim with "no regard for human life" all night throwing down tomahawk jam after tomahawk jam. Instead, he's Mr Passive.
I don't buy it. You think KG or Kobe would have played like he did if they heard that news ? Hell no- they would have ben looking to destroy the other team.
Kobe, Gasol, Fisher= clutch KG, Ray, Pierce= clutch LBJ- FAIL

jeb,
Oooooh! Good one. Very obscure Shakespearean reference!
Doesn't involve sex or betrayal, but very obscure. LOL.
How many people even read Shakespeare anymore? Damn few. Sad.
"Cowards die many times before their deaths The valiant never taste of death but once." - Julius Caesar
"The coward dies a thousand deaths, but the brave just one". - Tupac Shakur
"Neither a borrower nor a lender be; for loan oft loses both itself and friend." - Hamlet
"Neither a borrower nor a lender be" - Benjamin Franklin, from Poor Richard's Almanac
""What's in a name? That which we call a rose By any other name would smell as sweet." - Romeo and Juliet
"A Rose is a Rose is a Rose" - Gertrude Stein, from the poem Sacred Emily
"Parting is such sweet sorrow" - Romeo and Juliet
"How can I miss you if you won't go away" - Bob Heckler, many times to many women.

Hi,
I don't blame Gloria at all. Very few women could resist such a colorful guy coming to their front door on a 3-wheel bike armed to the teeth.

Re: I'm almost embarrassed to post this
You guys are bad....but I am sitting here laughing my head off at such a ridiculous story. Even if it is true, which it is beginning to look like it is, what's the big deal? Delonte should be in jail soon. I am still trying to figure out how
Gilbert got the book thrown at him by Stern, yet this guy was able to be out and about, game after game. I know, I know, Gilbert's transgression happened at the arena. However, This guy was caught with 3 loaded guns!!!!
He must be paying a ton in lawyer fees to keep him out of jail this long. He is just a whack job, and he will be out of the NBA before long because he is so
stupid!

Re: I'm almost embarrassed to post this
He suffers from crippling manic depression. I give him a lot of slack because of that. I have seen many people including my closest relatives be diminished and killed by the disease.
Van Gundy actually said something that deeply resonated with me the other night during game two. what he said was that when things are going really badly you need truth tellers in the locker room and Cleveland didnt have any. This rings true with what I have seen from Bron since he began to choose the dark side of the force.
Guys go into va and md to buy gats to bring to dc cause they will bury you in dc on a gun charge.
