Lots of college coaches get the opportunity to get "benefits" in their business. Could be hard not to accept some of these benefits even if you know that they are illegal.

Hope that this guy can clear his name because his coaching career may be over all the way down to parks and rec leagues if found guilty.

Yesterday I was conversing with a new Syracuse University employee

He mentioned how the coach violates recruiting rules freely with illegal calls and visits. (NOT MONEY)

The coach reports them too, most of them.

Because getting the player is important.

And the penalty is so very minor. ( small fine)

I can only imagine how bad the big programs are.

There may be consequences for failure to report" in kind" income, as well. I have no sympathy for the guy (if true). Somebody else didn`t get to matriculate while he played favorites for money.
