Sometimes things that seem strange to us, make sense to those doing the deed. For some reason, maybe Larry
helped Dino along the way, who knows???

How is Dino or Mo Cheeks even considered HOFers?   Dino?? :>)))

IN his day Mo Cheeks was a hell of a player for the 76er's. I am not a stat freak, so I do not know where he is in the line.

I found it amusing that Ray Allen had Reggie Miller as his presenter, way back, they did not like each other much at all. Time heals I guess. Sad that he did not consider one of his teammates from either "ring" winning team he played on. He is a complex man with issues still lingering. He was on ESPN recently defending himself again and pointing fingers at his fellow Celtic teammates. This is a sad situation

When compared to point guards of his generation - I can see why he would be considered for the HOF - as he compares favorably with Dennis Johnson.

Remember it is the BASKETBALL hall of fame not the NBA hall of fame.

Not quite sure what Dino’s overseas stats were but I do remember he was pretty highly regarded when he came over here, as for Cheeks he was a damn tough point guard. 15 year career helped get the Sixers to 3 finals and won one. Darn tough defender too. 5th all time in steals and 11 th all time in assists.

Dino probably smoked more cigarettes after practices and after games than any other NBA player in history.

OK. I’ll give in on Cheeks and am aware that its just not NBA players that make it. But Dino in and Jack Sikma and Shawn Kemp not?

The Hall of fame is not limited to just nba accomplishments. Hence Dino's European record is taken into consideration.

Below is a list of foreign born Basketball Hall Of Famers. Only Ming, Sabonis, Marciulionis,Petrovic, and Radja did not play basketball at a U S college. Note their rather brief nba careers - Petrovic killed in a auto crash.
  Looks like they were judged by different guide lines.

Guess so. And anyone else who has been screwed by Pitino should be in there too. . Be real crowded then. ;>0

Petrovic would have made any HOF. He was superb.
