For those with access to Comcast
Celtic preview at 8:00 tonight. Unfortunately I will not be home to enjoy the idiot Draper!!!! Has anyone watched him lately? Is he taking over for the loudmouth Felger, yelling and screaming with the other idiot, Tanguay. WHY DO WE HAVE TO PUT UP WITH THIS CELTICS?????? There has to be someone better out there

How about Danielle Trotta?
Where do they find these people? I can not watch Boston Sports Tonight anymore I just can’t handle bringing in people who have no connection to Boston sports!

Totally agree with you Bob. She drives me nuts, knows nothing about Boston sports, and her opinions are useless. I turn them off most of the time except when they have Fosberg on. They talk about Pierce, Garnett, even Russ, like they were here when they were. They know nothing, and Draper has gotten awful this last year or so because they keep giving him more time.

Unfortunately thats the way the industry has been trending the past few years. (Remember former Net Donny Marshall?) Thats when I started noticing it.
It does appear that Drapers (“Hes my guy”) FaceTime has increased significantly. He irritates me but I’d rather he then Friggin Felger! Drapers improved a scothe but hes still annoying. We don’t like them but their research must be telling them something different otherwise their asses would’ve been blown out of there by now. I also noticed that Draper has a clothing deal with a very high end clothing store (Giblees) so looks like he’ll be around for quite awhile starting fake arguments and expressing fake rage.
Danielle in my opinion is a slight improvement over that other blond that left for Barstool but we all know why she’s there. (I could’ve sworn she flashed a hint of her panties one night) Abby’s beginning to get on my nerves lately with her silly girl cheerleading. It’s okay to appear to love your team, just don’t act like you’re in Jr. High school.
I never heard of most of those people and the channel and their shows are all over the place.
NBCSN has affiliates in a great deal of major markets and I get the impression that they’re wanting to project less local bias and more of a balanced objective view. That may work from a national standpoint but from the local aspect, in my opinion its a terrible strategy. Local fans really want people on air that are knowledgeable and that agree with them and vice versa. For us we loved Johnny Most and love Tommy because they’re colorfull but most importantly they’re on “our side”. Don’t the Networks get it? That’s what local sports and fans want. Anyone outside of of our locale make us uncomfortable because we know they don’t know our teams like we do so they’re not convincing or believable. It ain’t the 6 o’clock news! It’s Sports and they’re our teams! Big difference.
I will say that I love Holly, he is very good and you’d never know he is from Ohio unless he tells you.
Tanguay is less annoying to me than he was before. I get a kick out of the way I believe they’re dicking him around. Hell, Draper comes in and takes over his Early Edition show and rubs it in by telling him about it.
Drapers ego is out of control at times. I even heard him say to Tanguay, that Celtics pre and post shows are “my shows” and “It’s not your show anymore”!
No! It’s our show! The airwaves belong to the viewer and we really have the control. Don’t watch or listen and they’re gonna be gone. Most of us (sans Rosalie and diehards like me) don’t exercise that power and keep watching even though we’re pissed off.
I believe that we are going to continue to witness the gradual disappearance of Felger and more of Holly.
I don’t know about you but I kinda like that idea. It’s the one few bright spots on that network.
Ps: What the hell happened to Greg Dickerson? Outside of occasional EEI fill-ins. He’s dropprd totally out of sight.

Here's a possibility. Start a campaign writing the station and more importantly, the advertisers. Don't like Draper? 5 or 10 thousand letters to Giblees could make a difference. I've complained for years that I can't watch these shows you guys seem to hate with good reason. Guess I should count my blessings instead.
