Re: This and that
This is the first indication to issues on this championship team. It will be interesting if the message gets thru and they move on in a professional way. Drammond Green can be a mouthful at time

Re: This and that
Just watched Cleveland blow out Charlotte.
Colin Sexton, the #8 pick we gave them in the Kyrie trade, reminds me of Tyronn Lue when he played, and Tyronn Lue wasn't an #8 pick. Underwhelmed, I must say. Still early, of course, but I didn't see him show anything
That Nwaba kid though looked very good on both ends.
Ante Zizic got in for a few minutes at the end and promptly traveled. Poor Ante, he was born 30 years too late. He was made for the 80s.

Heard he got suspended.
At times he does come off the rails.

Anybody keeping an eye on the Lakers? Just beat POR at home and have the same record as we do. Anybody still not buying that they will make the playoffs or get to the finals somehow? Just curious.

I do not see them getting to the finals but with Lebron there they can and should be a playoff team. I think they are a really bad defensive team

Don't look now but the LAC are playing very well. We Just need them to play one game better that 14 other teams. They beat SA last night in a real close contest. Low Williams is the ultimate sniper.
GSW look discombobulated as they were blown out by the rockets 107-86. The tension was think with Green returning to the lineup. If this continues to fester it will impact their ability to win. The damage has been done.

Watched the 2nd half of the GSW-Dallas game. Luka Doncic is Toni Kukoc 2.0. Toni was a bit maligned back when he played, seen as a bit soft, but he'd shine in today's perimeter game. Doncic is already better than him and his game fits today's NBA.

Reminds me more of a combo of Paul Pierce and Chris Paul, great vision and plays at his own pace, makes plays all over floor both ends.

Hey where's all the brow-beating about how Toronto is falling apart?!!! And that GSW are a one trick pony with Steph! JK

Doc really is doing an amazing job with this team this year. Love Montrez Harrell, the modern day Paul Silas, love gritty role players!!

WOW!!! Durant with a statement game, going for 50 unfortunately in a losing cause vs Raptors and Kawhi was pretty good too....

Re: This and that
Toronto in OT over GSW in Toronto. KD with 51, but only 4 in OT. Iggy, of all people, with 2 backbreaking TOs to put the game out of reach.
Kawhi with 37.
No Curry. Steph plays and GSW wins easily. Cook is starting for him and isn't a starting PG.
The line, for those who follow that, was Toronto minus 9 1/2.

Cow,
I didn't, but I've watched some Mav games. He's going to be fun to watch for the next 15 years.

Re: This and that
Toronto is a tough out at home for anybody. But GSW were missing Steph and Green. One thing however does come across. GSW really lack quality depth as both Iggy and Livingston look like over-cooked turkeys.
It will be interesting to see if Boogie can make it back.

Just saw a cool highlight! Doncic twice, in quick succession, blocked LeBron James under the basket. (James is his hero no less)

I wanted the board to guess....
Chris Paul, he played 58 games last year, making 40 million a year for the next 4 years at 34.

Re: This and that
I can give you two more overpaid players that could also qualify as the second most overpaid players.
How about Kevin Love and Chandler Parsons.
Which proves there are a lot of overpaid players based on their ability to stay healthy enough to play.

Re: This and that
ohhhhh...yea..I vote Chandler Parsons!!!
4 year $94 M deal started in 2016 season.
he's played in just over 1400 minutes TOTAL since...two years plus this year so far!!!
thanks dboss, I'll go along with him being the WORST under current deal.
Paul will never be worth what he signed for at his age, Wall may look like a bargain compared to paul and Parsons come to think about it...WOW!!!!

Re: This and that
Yes, but Love is out right now! There are too many overpaid players, sooner or later, owners will tire of giving money to guys who end up at the end of a bench because they stop trying.

yes Love is out....again. That is why I put him on the list of overpaid players. He is injury prone. I was surprised that the Cavs made an investment on him since they are in a rebuilding mode and he gets injured a lot. You cannot build a team around Kevin Love or expect him to attract quality free agents.
