I actually read through the article fairly quickly before posting it.

Did it actually say what Doc did with the money? The possibilities are boundless in L.A.

He put the money in an envelope and stashed it somewhere in the visiting teams' locker room in the Staples Center.

When they got to LA, he pulled it out and reminded them of the commitment they made back in February.

and brought Doc along as his guest, of course.
