This the progression of a debate out here - the terms change as the threads go along.

The whole point of this thread was making a deal that sent Robert Williams TO ORLANDO and brought Mo Bamba TO BOSTON.  It wasnt both, it was an either or.

How it turned into everyone is old, so we should keep them both is beyond me.

you are correct...MY proposal was Rozier and Williams and MAYBE a late first next year for Bamba and one of their young guards.


I feel that Bamba has more upside than Williams (and real size) and along with Danny's supposed interest in Bamba pre draft past year, felt it might be an option.

I fully understand we can disagree on which one will be the better NBA player and time will tell.

I also felt moving Rozier may open up the rotation more and allow more minutes for Brown in the end with Smart and Irving being the primary ball handlers in the backcourt.

this could also make it easier to pay both Irving and Morris this off-season, IMO. Bamba's deal next year (with Frazier or Briscoe) will be a LOT less than any deal to keep Rozier here.

I still feel IF Bamba can be acquired, Danny should at least look at it.

Re Barkley, my girlfriend went to hear Shaq talk at our biggest lecture hall yesterday. When asked about how dumb Barkley is, Shaq answered that he had told Sir Charles he would be traveling, doing lectures.

Charles asked, "Where are you going?"

Shaq answered, "Sarasota."

Barkley replied, "Bring me some of those."
