Next Up - Lakers @ Celtics February 7th

How appropriate

By tip off everyone will know if the Lakers have been bamboozled.  

They got annihilated last night in Indiana by 42 points.  We only see them twice a year but a Celtics vs Lakers game always draws attention.  This one even more so as they are in competition for the services of Anthony Davis.  The Lakers are fighting for a playoff berth and Boston is looking to challenge for a higher playoff position.  This is an important game for both teams.  

Coach Walton has been under attack, reportedly by Lebron while Lavar just came out and called him the worse coach his son has ever had.  What a mess.  Lebron was interviewed and asked about the trade with NOLA and he lied like a rug.  He apparently is oblivious to what's going on.  Right!

But in the end there is a game to be played and there is nothing I would like better than to Beat LA.  Danny will likely be watching and cheering and growling throughout the game.  But he is likely to also have a smirk on his face.  Magic may want to sign up for Danny's two week seminar this summer on how to build a franchise.

As the clock ticks down on the trade deadline the Celtics focus will be on winning. They need to remain healthy and play up to their potential.

That is all that we can hope for as fans.

The game tonight is a sideshow for the media but Celtics fans see it as an opportunity to win game # 36.
