Charlotte is 2 games back in the loss column for making the 8th seed in the playoffs. They have an incentive to play well.

For the year Boston is 2-1 against the Hornet having won both home games and losing on the road.

Indiana having dropped 4 straight games is fading fast as I expected they would. A win tonight by Boston will put them in a virtual tie for 4th place in the East. Boston has 2 games remaining against the Pacers so their destiny is in their own hands.

Time for a win tonight. This team needs a first round homecourt seeding.

Over the past 20 games Boston is playing .500 ball at 10-10. They are 4-5 on the road and 4-8 against playoff teams. This is who they have been all year, a below average road team and a below average team against quality competition.

If I was a betting man I would wager on a 2nd round TKO.
