Two years, long time. His career is over in the NBA for the most part. Better find a country over seas who doesn’t care how the medicate themselves

Re: Tyreke Evans
It had to be drugs of abuse, not performance enhancing. If it were performance enhancing, the league would say what it was. They can't if it is drugs of abuse.
Drugs of abuse include cocaine, methamphetamines, opiates, LSD and PCP. Not marijuana.

Sounds like addiction and I’m with KJ. I hope he gets the help he needs.

Oh well, another professional player who made some seriously bad decisions. He is not the first guy or the last one who ruined his career.
Can't feel sorry for him, but I do hope he can make a healthy recovery.

My first thought was recreation, not addiction.
The league, by rule, will be tight lipped about it. Over time, "Unnamed sources" will tell the tale (true or not).

The drug(s) itself my be termed recreational but if one goes so far as to risk a very lucrative livelihood and perhaps their family and friends for a drug high he/she is more than likely an addict.

Vin Baker was a sad story, no doubt. Addiction whatever it is, is a lifetime battle. Baker is doing okay now. Operating a coffee shop i RI.
He lost his career, but still has a life. God bless him
