The Lakers get a top 5 player, the Pels get 3 good young players, a boatload of 1st round picks, which means cost control and possible Bird rights going forward, and by sending Soloman Hill to the Hawks, $12.8 million off their books. That trade has potentially set N.O. up for a bright future.
