Loved that team, young Dave Cowens at his peak, Hondo in the midst of being the most complete all around player in the game. Silas beating people up inside, JoJo silky smooth, Chaney the defensive menace....great team and era.

My comments: While the question did not specify regular season games vs. playoff games, the answer that I covered up pre-scan was 1,270. That was the number for "season" games on the web page I referenced.. I don't know if that means regular season games or all games.

Hondo also was the leader for most playoff games played (172). In that category, Hondo beat Kevin McHale by 3 games played.
