This is a tough blow for the Sixers. I hate to see guys get hurt like that. No time table for his return but he should make it back.

I read anywhere between 2-6 weeks recovery.

The first round of the playoffs after the play in tournament is supposed to begin on Aug 17th. The 76ers will be cautious. But that also means a first round minus Simmons.

He's going to have surgery on his knee.  There are approximately 9 weeks left through the playoffs.  I don't see how any player with a leg injury, which will kill his wind and game shape, can be back and be in shape to play in under 5-6 weeks.  Taking into account the time needed to clear quarantine he'd be lucky to be back for the Championship series.

This poor kid has absolutely no luck. He has such brittle bones. Seems like he is always recovering from something. I really do hate to see a young guy go thru as much as he has. It has a real mental effect on them
