You might want to be careful throwing the Karma reference around. The Lakers still have to play the Nuggets and beat them.

You might want to be careful throwing the Karma reference around.  The Lakers still have to play the Nuggets and beat them.  

Kawhi knew by waiting as long as possible that most of the very good free agents such as Jimmy Butler and D’Angelo Russell would have signed as free agents or traded as free agents and that this would hurt the Lakers who already had the AD trade ready to go after the moratorium ended. That is exactly what happened. Even though the Lakers had a maximum salary available, they wound up signing non stars like Danny Green, Quinn Cook, Cousins, Bradley and re-signed Caruso, Rondo and McGee.
Karma is directed at the Clippers and not Denver. I couldn’t be happier about how the Clippers season imploded.

Denver is a formidable opponent.
I do think the Lakers will win that series.
