Video: Doc Rivers Son

He looks like a real good player.
He has NBA 3 point range, handles the ball like very few HS players can and is is more athletic then his dad was.
I was very impressed by this video.

I'm sure he's a nice player, but you can't get a true impression by looking at a highlight video. He does have NBA-three range and should only get better with that as he matures. I was initially concerned that his jump shot is off-balance since he kicks out his right leg and drifts left rather than going straight up like Ray Allen, but he does it consistently, so maybe that's just an odd thing he does, like Reggie Miller.

He apparently needs to work on his left hand, because he finished with his right every time he drove left. But it's rare to find anyone at the high school level who uses the off-hand well. The best players in high school use their athleticism to compensate and are still very successful.

But if the kid can shoot like the video seems to indicate he can, he could potentially have a bright future. The comparison that comes to mind is Stephen Curry.

nbadraft.net has him listed as the #3 player in the 2012 NBA Draft.
I am sure they have seen him play enough to warrant putting him that high on their mock draft.

Wow, #3 at this stage is pretty impressive.

Big strong kid, good with the dribble, good range and finishes at the rim.
