Let's face it, teams leave him open and dare him to take those last minute shots because they are doubling our shooters. With another shooter on the floor, things may change. I love the guy, he gives all he has to the game and the Celtics. Not many players out there like him today

He definitely helped us get back in the game but he shot 2-10 from deep and and 3 -13 for the game That had less to do with Jaylen and Jayson getting more defensive attention. Some of that is all on him. He makes some big defensive plays all the time and he hits some big time shots as well but he also takes more than his share of bad shots. I think he is at his best when he is not chucking up shots from deep. Just my observation.

The worst thing that ever happened was that game where he set the 3 point record. It just gave him so much confidence that he could hit any shot he throws up and that is a bad thing. Here is hoping he will not get the ball as much with Fournier on the floor????

That's the problem with him as PG. When he's acting as the PG, he thinks, with justification, that it's his decision to shoot or pass. That's not what he's good at and not why we need him. If KW or PP or any of the wings penetrate and kick to him and he's open, that's fine. If the shot clock is ticking down, that's fine. If the defense is falling off him and doubling, a la Rondo, that may be necessary and fine. But otherwise, not fine. On defense he can guard 1-5. But on offense he's a fourth option 2/3.
