Am I crazy for thinking Theis is a pretty big loss for Boston? Thompson kinda sucks at this point and Timelord is much more upside than actual impact right now. Theis was a pro on both ends, nothing super special but just rock solid all around and a credible 25 minute playoff guy. Idk.

Yeah I don't really get it, they needed depth and Fournier should be fine I guess, but Theis is a totally respectable spot-starter/3rd big and apparently a great locker room guy to boot.

It feels like Boston/Miami/Philly made trades just to make trades. None of them clearly significantly improved and we probably won't need to see Lowry in the playoffs either now.

Oh definitely, I've always been a fan of Theis and he was Boston's best big.

Wagner grades out better than you'd expect on the defensive end. Some of the analytics like RAPTOR place him in pretty elite company. I think the Celtics are banking on that.

Mo Wagner's an aggressively mediocre big and people confuse his reckless/borderline dirty brand of defense with "hustle and grit" because he's a try hard white dude from the Big-10.    So yeah, he'll fit in perfectly next to Marcus Smart and endear himself to obnoxious Boston fans.

Wagner was a fantastic pickup. He's going to be a stud for BOS.

I was thinking this same thing for the last however many years he's been in the league. He's the type of guy that everyone hates if he's not on their team. But put him on the bucks and he is a hands down fan favorite.

He gets a lot of hate here but he played super well without like any cheap foul baiting or dirty plays. Idk, I kinda respected his game tn.

I love smart, now that he can shoot it’s tough watching him play us, but I love any guard that can take giannis in the post, it’s just impressive, gotta tip the hat, he just wants it (he couldn’t shoot lik that a whole series tho, go bucks)

Celtics were insane tonight. Tatum is honestly a joy to watch.

Boston had defense that bothered us offensively though and they were on fire. Fair play by them
