Re: Playoff Observations
This is a subject that deserves a forum of its own and its probably not here but I will say this.
America is racist but Kyrie cannot use his situation as anywhere close to being an example.
He lied, was a bad teammate, a terrible leader, an egomaniac and a louse who got paid but sold his own teammates and team down the drain in his last playoffs here. Kyrie deserves to be booed and signs with clever anecdotes with his face on it need to decorate the rafters. Memes of his weak lying ass should be on every sports site in the city come first light Friday morning.
His being African American or Native American (he wears that hat too) has zero to do with what he has coming to him.
So Kyrie, you’re not gonna get away with trying to pimp a legitimate movement with your selfish little self centered cry baby ass. There are real people suffering bias and racism everyday in every city in this country but on Friday that is not what’s happening and YOU know it so stfu, put in some earplugs if need be and when the games are over come Sunday the Mystic River Bridge is less than 2 miles away. Doesn’t matter if you jump or get pushed.

Doc back in Boston?!!!! Or has that bridge been burnt?

doc is not returning and Brad is not leaving. If by chance they were to lose to the 8th place Wizards there would surely be rumblings. I think Doc is a perfect coach for Philly and they have done a splendid job putting that roster together. If they can go up 2-0 you can book them for round 2.

Was just hearing on Michael Kay’s talk radio show how easy it is to dislike the Nets, this was from the hosts of the show and callers, even fans in the Tri state area don’t want to deal with this fake racism crap....Kyrie is a full fledged delusional moron, just because he has a platform he thinks he can get away with all this crap, wish the media would just ban/ignore him.

Julius Randle is way more popular than Kyrie is in that area. He’s not well liked and his taking vacations whenever he wants to doesn’t sit well in Brooklyn either. He’s a unhappy millionaire and deserves everything he's got coming to him.

Right Kay was questioning Kyrie during the year too, saying this is such hypocrisy calling out Durant when Kyrie was out not even injured and Durant was saying he’s got my back, Kay was calling out the BS saying really how, by not being there for the team on an unexplained whim, how can you say he’s there for you...??? These pampered entitled millionaires make me sick, not all of them, I admire Giannis’s work ethic and loyalty, but too many of these brats have the franchise by the balls, they have to put up with this crap.

Yeah and I cant believe but KD was my favorite player in the NBA but now I hate him. I’d like to say he’s changed for the worse but he probably was always like this. He is more like Kyrie. You’d think some of Steph would’ve rubbed off on him. Kyrie is bad news for everyone around him. KD just happens to be be just like him.

Game 2 of the Hawks vs Knicks is a tight one, about a quarter to go and Knicks have made a comeback to now lead by 1.
Madison Square Garden is rocking!!!

Re: Playoff Observations
Wow this Bucks team is pummeling Miami, up 24, doing it with defense defense defense as Giannis only has 11, but has 17 rebounds, Lopez playing great D. Jrue Holiday putting on assist clinic and whole team is playing textbook defense. Also have PJ Tucker playing great defense as a 3. Bobby Portis also playing great, everyone sharing the ball, but what great defense with about a minute or so left in the 3rd.

It was great to see aa great coach come up with a defensive game plan during half time and win one of the biggest games in 8 years!
Yes I am talking about the NYK's and Tom T our past coach! The guy should have been our coach.............what the F were Danny and company thinking when Doc left?
And what about the Knicks GM, what a job of bringing in vets with experience along with younger players..............Noel, Rose, Randle.............we all had opportunities in Boston to trade for these guys!

MIL looks really good. MIA looks really bad. If they continue to play like they did last night, Brooklyn is done. I have no further questions, Your Honor.

Would love to see a team win and dominate with defense and rebounding, the nation will be rooting for the Bucks, even franchise legend Julius Erving doesn’t like these Nets guys....

Bucks playing well at both ends. They have taken the Heat completely out of their game. 3 very decisive wins.

And as was observed last night on TNT, MIL didn't really look like they were at full steam. Get ready BKN. Get ready to swap positions with the Celtics next round. Lack of defense is coming home to roost.

Milwaukee Bucks lose starter Donte DiVincenzo for playoffs with ankle injury
Well that is not good. Looks like Bryn Forbes and Pat Connaughton will need to play more minutes. Donte has played well on the defensive side of the court. He rebounds well and is a willing passer on offense.

Donte is a better defender than Forbes and Pat C, big loss

Re: Playoff Observations
Milwaukee swept the Heat.
We're now down 1-2 against what I consider to be a better team than the Milwaukee Bucks. The Brooklyn Nets, when healthy, is the most talented team in the NBA and they're healthy now (except for Jeff Green and that's not a needle-moving loss). They weren't healthy for most of the season and that might have something to do with Milwaukee's better record. They also didn't add James Harden until after the season was already underway.
I point this out so that people realize things are not as dark for the Celtics as some doom-and-gloomers are painting things. We won a game against an elite team, despite being down All-Star Jaylen Brown. We're losing over 24ppg without Jaylen and we still won a game, coming back from a 19-4 deficit.
No matter what happens on Sunday and in game 5 at least there's going to be a game 5. This is more than the Miami Heat can boast. They are healthy and they got swept by the Bucks who were down a starter (Donte DiVencenzo).

Well, Miami is out, Jimmy Butler played one lousy game, and the rest of his team showed up for the first half then disappeared. So, they are out.
Giannis had a triple double, but, he did not do much until the second half Someone better tell him the game is 4 quarters long or he will be the next one gone if he plays Brooklyn or whoever

Re: Playoff Observations
Bob, you have a very realistic grasp of this Celtics team We are only a couple of players away from #18.
Re: Playoff Observations
Yes several players way. But a tall order to bring in a legit center to pair with Williams. That will mean losing Brown or Tatum.

So the path to #18 becomes that much more difficult. It is not any easy path unless Danny makes a bold move. He needs to do this this summer.
anything else is is fools gold.
