We’ve heard from Cedric Maxwell and Kevin Garnett about this. Hope we hear from current day players. Tatum, Brown, Smart……….

If it weren't for the idiot fan throwing the bottle, the league might have had some incentive to at least make a statement about this. As it is, I believe Irving will suffer no consequence since all he really accomplished amounted to a self-centered display. The entire league, of course, expects self-centered displays from Irving. We can only hope he breaks an ankle tripping in a patch of shamrocks. That would be perfect.

Kyrie's consequences will be administered in this next round. It will be far more humiliating than we can possibly imigine. No further questions, your Honor.

Re: Kyrie wiped his foot on Lucky
We have seen this many times where a team logo is the focus of an imposing players distain.
In this situation it is very much part of Irving's recent and disturbing comments about Boston. The intersection between sports and the community that embraces their team becomes inseparable. The big strike out for him is that he completely missed the fact that the Celtics have been a historical reference point for social justice and inclusion. That is a fact even if the city struggled to embrace positive change.
His actions greatly diminished what was a splendid display of basketball skills. He is the guy who lied to everyone and then sabotaged the Celtics on and off the court and then hides behind a shield of self-righteousness.
Shameful.

Red’s brother Zang Auerbach designed the logo. Mr. Irving is best ignored as are most ignoramus.

Shameful.
He said something in his presser about “Do your research” pertaining to racist comments from fans.
Maybe he should take his own advise and do some research on Red and the Celtics history.
His ignorance is unbearable.

Re: Kyrie wiped his foot on Lucky
Kyrie, we did our research and we keep getting the same results and conclusions back from multiple, almost infinite sources.
Ladies and gentlemen, it is all about perspective. Sometimes, your perspective becomes so clouded, jaded and removed from reality that you actually start to sound and act like a crazy person. When everyone but yourself unanimously reaches the same conclusion, then there's a really good chance you might want to take a long look in the mirror and realize you are the problem. That's where we are here.

Really???? Are you serious???? Seems quite cynical to me but that does not surprise me. The one who should look in the mirror is Kyrie. Why does controversy follow him wherever he goes? He will always be considered a phenomenal talent but a sick human being.
