Even Embiid calls out the elephant in the room. Against a team with good defense, and when the Js aren't hitting their 3s, we don't have a shot. And is there such a thing as consistently inconsistent? That's Schroder. I guess with Marcus out we can't afford to sit him or trade him without another BU PG. But Pritchard is by far the best 3pt shooter on the team, plays better defense, and moves the ball. I'm sure Schroder is a good fit for someone, though not at the money he seems to think he's worth. But he's not a good fit for us. Neither Marcus nor Pritchard are ideal PGs but we play more as a team with them on the court. With Schroder it's ISO, ISO all day.

The jay's partaking in 12 of our 20 turnovers is mostly because we do not have a top of the line point guard. Instead we keep trying to fit a couple of square pegs in a pair of round holes.

This project will have massive cost overruns.

Will a valid point guard stop all those TO's by the J's dboss, or will those two still dribble straight into double and triple teams no matter who touches the ball first?

Only a personnel change from up top by Brad & Co. will tell us. It's getting near the end of the rope. For this season at least. What's your breakdown on the odds of a bits and pieces vs. blockbuster vs. sit tight deal by trade deadline? Just curious.

In theory you add that floor general and the coach takes the ball away from others.

No block buster deal coming.  Even if a killer shooter or a monster PF were added you still need that really good player running the show.  Maybe in the off season with more favorable contract considerations.

This season was lost when new GM Brad did not add any missing pieces.

He deserves the chance to put his master plan into motion.  But I would be shocked if any major shake up is on the venue before the deadline.
